Guest Artist Doreen Kassel – Workshop Sunday November 4th, 2012

We are excited to announce Doreen Kassel will be our guest artist at our workshop Sunday, Nov 4th . It is free to members and it’s not too late to become a member and pay your $30 yearly dues.

Small Creature Charm Workshop

In this class we’ll create adorable creatures & tiny beasts, either to wear as a charm, or just to keep as a good luck charm. Think of stories or categories for your charms. For example, the three little pigs, jungle animals, farm animals, dogs, you get the idea!

Learn to sculpt these tiny 3/4″ creatures. After they are baked we’ll paint them with multiple coats of with oil paints, to give them a subtle, vintage feel. Feel free to bring cord to string the little creatures.Doreen will be with us for 4 hours, 11-2pm. If you plan to work along please bring these supplies with you.
Supplies:
White Premo Clay, three 2 oz blocks
Decent oil paints, I use Winton (be sure to have Burnt umber & white)
a few small, pointed tip brushes
turpenoid
rags to clean up, or Viva paper towels
I’ll supply soft wire for tiny mouse tails & loops for charms.

I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog. It’s a very easy
on the eyes which makes it much more pleasant for me to come here and
visit more often. Did you hire out a developer to create your theme?

    Exceptional work!

    • Robin Milne says:

I am new to blogging and took this over from another member who created it. It says the theme is Twenty ten. – Robin
