We have started a group project to cover all of the handles of the cabinets in our studio at Thompson Park and they are looking amazing. Nine have been covered of the 26 handles so you still have a chance to get in on the fun.

Small Creature Charm Workshop
In this class we’ll create adorable creatures & tiny beasts, either to wear as a charm, or just to keep as a good luck charm. Think of stories or categories for your charms. For example, the three little pigs, jungle animals, farm animals, dogs, you get the idea!
Our next Workshop will be September 9th. The second Sunday due to Labor Day weekend. Robin will demo Kumihimo braiding to make cords for your jewelry. There will be a few other demos to be announced. 11-3pm
We will be using all those great new techniques to create polymer Butterflies to donate.
Our May workshop focused on surface techniques. I demonstrated toner image transfers. We were then treated to Jones Tones foil techniques, textures topped with mica powders, silk screening, how to use a Cuttlebug and Barbara’s awesome “scratch a lump” technique. It was as busy as it sounds. Thanks to Joyce, Lenora, Emily & Barbara for demos. Our new members should be experts in no time.
